ISAAC JASPER ADAKA BORO has remained an eternal symbol of unity of the Ijaw man all around the world.

Boro stood very tall for justice hence his courage and determination to liberate his people was vehement and unparalleled in the history of Ijaw nation.



Today, the Ijaw struggle, which has metamorphosed into the Niger Delta Struggle, is the crystallization of Adaka Boro’s vision and sense of mission, his patriotism and passion for the Ijaw nation and Nigeria as a whole.

What Adaka Boro stood for was social harmony, economic equality and environmental justice.
