Africa Fashion Week London in August
Important Information
Girls: You must be:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Minimum of 5’8” in your bare feet.
  • UK Dress size 6-12
  • Any nationality
  • Please wear black leggings and a vest top.
  • Bring 3” heels (court shoes preferably).  NO WEDGES OR STRAPPED SANDALS.

Guys:  You must be:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Minimum of 6’0” in your bare feet.
  • Any nationality
  • Please wear jeans, t-shirt and formal shoes

Bring your Z-card or a recent photograph of yourself stapled to your correct measurements.  Include your contact details on this sheet.

We are going to be casting for 2 shows:

The main show is Africa Fashion Week London on 11-12 August;  and the second show is an AFWL Curated Catwalk at Africa Utopia on 15 July.  If you cannot make either date, but still would like to be seen by us for future reference, please attend this casting.

Africa Fashion Week London is a 2 day show.  You will be expected to walk for at least 35 designers over the 2 days.  This means lots of catwalk air time in front of an international audience and press.  We are looking for at least 30 female models and 12-15 male models.  This is a paid assignment.

The AFWL Curated Fashion Show at Africa Utopia is a small show.  It is a 1 day assignment.  You will be expected to walk 2 or 3 times.  It is a paid assignment.

Our 2016 catwalk at London Olympia hosted 36 catwalk designers from 20 different countries.
2015 catwalk shows featured a record of over 50 catwalk designers over 5 shows including the South African Kwa-Zulu Natal Fashion Council.
2014 catwalk shows featured ‘from the catwalk to the shopping bag’ facility for the audience.
2013 at Old Trumans was 3 days of catwalk, showcasing 52 designers and included a celebrity gala night at the Dorchester.
