Youth Leadership Program by African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO)

AWLO Leadership School in Partnership with Toastmasters, organise a Youth Leadrship Program to train youths on developing strong leadership and communication skills.
The Youth Leadership Program is a workshop consisting of eight one- to two-hour sessions that enable participants to develop communication and leadership skills through practical experience. In two days participant will complete the curriculum, gain access to toastmasters resorces and workshops, and acquire certification.
In the course of the training,participants will learn to:

  • Evaluate present speaking ability
  • Organize and give speeches
  • Give impromptu talks
  • Control voice, vocabulary and gestures
  • Give constructive feedback
  • Goal Setting & Planning
