Position Title: Technical Officer-Monitoring and Evaluation in Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative

The Technical Officer-Monitoring and Evaluation will discharge his/her assignment under the guidance of the M&E Manager and relevant technical leads. S/He will be responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the state offices: work with the state- level staff and government counterparts to provide support and guidance on program/project monitoring and evaluation activities and on US Government and Government of Nigeria reporting requirements; will conduct-routine monitoring visits to project sires, including the conduct of data quality assessments (OQAs).
Minimum Recruitment Standards
• Or BSc in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (A RT) in resource constrained settings.
• Knowledge and experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation
• Well-developed computer skills
• Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
