International Financial Inclusion Conference 2018.

Lagos Business School and BusinessDay are hosting the 2018 International Financial Inclusion Conference. The theme of the conference is, “Stimulating Sustainable Economic Development through Financial Inclusion”.

The conference will be the largest multi-sector gathering of financial inclusion stakeholders in Nigeria, with more than 450 domestic and international speakers and delegates in attendance. Leading digital financial services experts, industry researchers, development agencies, legal practitioners and entrepreneurs will also be present to discuss and debate pertinent issues impacting financial inclusion in Nigeria.

This year’s event addresses financial inclusion as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth and national development, specifically focusing on macro and micro perspectives. Discussions will explore three central themes – the impact of financial inclusion on key macroeconomic indicators, agent cash-in cash-out (CICO) economics as well as the economic impacts and benefits of inclusion on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The conference will also feature the launch of three exciting industry reports, including a report on CICO Economics, another on identifying high impact SMEs and sustianable interventions to improve their survivability and the 2018 edition of the annual Digital Financial Services in Nigeria: State of the Market Report.
