A statement by the e-commerce firm said consumers would have access to “hygiene products, groceries and all relevant fast-moving consumer goods as well as pay utility bills during this critical time when most Nigerians might experience restrictions in movement as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.” The statement quoted Jumia Nigeria CEO, Massimiliano Spalazzi, saying that there are over 6 million home essential products and groceries that Nigerians can choose from.
