Africa’s leading smartphone company, Tecno gives out the sum of N2m to two young and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The Tecno “Light Up Your Dream” promo is an initiative to support SMEs in line with the successful launch of the brand’s newest smartphone series, TECNO Spark and Spark Plus.
Eight contestants made it to the final stage of the screening which took place at the ATG House 2A Isaac John Street GRA, Ikeja Lagos where they pitched to the judges what their business is all about and their plans to expand it.
The winners after the result from the judges was cumulated with the online audience votes were a fish farmer, Abiola Adeshina and a fashion entrepreneur, Bolatito Bashiru. All the final eight contestants were also given the new Tecno Spark mobile phone as a reward for their hard work.
During the course of the competition, a raffle draw was conducted for people that bought the Tecno Spark and Spark plus all over Nigeria and two winners were rewarded with a million naira each.
The empowerment project was created to help aspiring Nigerian entrepreneurs who had successfully moved their businesses from ideation stage to the real world.
