Unveiling The Face Of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2017

UNVEILING THE FACE OF AFRICA FASHION WEEK NIGERIA 2017.

We are so excited to announce fast rising presenter Amira Ibrahim
Alfa, as this year’s face of Africa fashion week Nigeria. Amira was
first sighted at the corridors of the AFWN 2016 while co-hosting with
Derenle Edun on the red carpet. Since then her career has escalated,
and we are proud to have her as the face of AFWN 2017.

According to the founder of AFWN Ronke Ademuluyi, Amira was chosen
because she’s a model representation of today’s young African woman,
who is vibrant, vivacious, and who is unafraid to dream, by stepping
out of the norm to make her mark in a career and contribute her own
quota to the society and events at large.

ABOUT AMIRA IBRAHIM ALFA

She was one of the presenters for the before and after party at the
just concluded AMVCA 2017. Amira has hosted few red carpet events in
the past including, Africa fashion week Nigeria 2016, Ethan and
Harriet 2016, Lagos fashion and design week (presenter for Prime Tv),
runway FADAN 2016, a judge on the miss ideal Nigeria 2016 pageant and
got Glam & Essence most promising red carpet host award 2016, at the

internship at Ebonylife tv in 2016, during her master’s program.
Like she better describes herself in an interview. “i am very
adventurous. I dont have one particular style, because i love trying
new things and exploring new clothing ideas and trends,” this goes to
show why she is always looking gorgeous at events.
