Wema Bank partners Lagos on education.

Wema Bank grows gross earnings by 42.3% to N131.08bn

Wema Bank Plc says it has partnered with Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board to fund education for out-of-school children.

According to a statement from the bank, the initiative, which was tagged Project Zero, is a multi-partner initiative to tackle and cater to out-of-school children.

It said the initiative aimed to provide starter kits to encourage out-of-school children to get back to school and resume academic activities.

Speaking during the programme, the Executive Director, Lagos Bank, Wema Bank, Mr Wole Ajimisinmi, said, “The project zero initiative is in line with one of our corporate social investments pillars; education.”
