A Decade of Brilliance: MTN Foundation-backed ‘Saro, The Musical’ Lights Up Lagos in Celebration of Nigerian Culture.

In a dazzling display of artistic prowess, the Terra Kulture Theatre in Victoria Island, Lagos, was aglow on December 23, 2023, as the celebrated Nigerian musical, “Saro, The Musical,” marked its 10th anniversary. Crafted by Bolanle Austen-Peters Productions (BAP) and generously supported by the MTN Foundation, this production served as a dynamic exhibition of Nigeria’s cultural richness.

Transporting the audience to contemporary Lagos, the musical paid homage to those who migrated from diverse regions of Nigeria, seeking opportunities within the vibrant economic hub. The narrative, centered around four ambitious young men navigating challenges in pursuit of success in the “city of dreams,” vividly captured the dynamism of Nigerian culture.
