Globacom Commemorates Two Decades of Dedication, Rewarding Long-Serving Staff at ‘Twenty & Unlimited’ Extravaganza.

In a grand celebration of its 20th anniversary, Globacom, Nigeria’s leading digital solutions provider, hosted an extravagant appreciation ceremony at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos. The “Twenty and Unlimited” party witnessed the recognition and reward of 89 long-serving employees, marking a significant milestone for their commitment and dedication to the company over the past two decades.

Mrs. Bella Disu, the Executive Vice Chairman of Globacom, took the stage to express her profound satisfaction with the awardees’ contributions to the company’s success. Acknowledging the significance of teamwork across various business units, she encouraged the honored staff to continue their pursuit of greatness. Mrs. Disu emphasized the pivotal role played by the collaborative efforts within the company that contributed to Globacom’s triumphs over the years.

With the theme “Twenty and Unlimited,” Mrs. Disu articulated her vision for the future, rallying the team to move forward with greater zeal and energy. Mrs. Disu promised a continued commitment to increasing value for staff, subscribers, and all stakeholders, ensuring both company growth and individual success.

The gala, attended by staff from across the country, was a high-energy affair, with participants donning dresses in Globacom’s signature colors. Entertainment featured performances by Wande Coal and Glo ambassadors Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka and Kizz Daniel, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

Distinguished guests included Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke; Ovation Publisher, Dele Momodu; Nollywood stars Ego Boyo, Ini Edo, Juliet Ibrahim, and Bolanle Ninalowo; comedian Broda Shaggi, and fashion icon Mai Atafo.

The evening showcased various competitions, including the Mr. Glo and Miss Glo pageants. Ifoghale Ashaka emerged as Mr. Glo, winning N2 million, while Miss Gift Okafor claimed the Miss Glo title, securing N2 million. Other competition winners received substantial prizes, including the best-dressed awards, dancing competition, singing competition, and a food “quaffing” competition.
