2018 Freedom Of Information Compliance Ranking

In the course of our activities, the Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) has relied on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 2011 to request for public expenditure information from several public institutions. This has led us to develop and release an annual compliance ranking survey across public institutions using the provisions of the FOI Act.

These rankings which commenced in 2013, assesses the level of compliance of public institutions with the benchmark of citizens access to public expenditure information contained in the Freedom of Information Act(FOIA), 2011. Kindly find last year’s rankings on http://procurementmonitor.org/foi-ranking/home/ranking
