Tutu, Enwonwu’s masterpiece makes surprise showing at Art X Lagos

Ben Enwonwu’s creative masterpiece, Tutu, made a surprise showing at this year’s edition of ART X Lagos, West Africa’s premier international art fair.

Sponsored by Access Bank, ART X Lagos 2018 also featured 50 artists from Nigeria and the diaspora including 18 of Africa’s most exciting galleries such as the Nike Art Gallery and Addis Fine Art.

Access Bank facilitated the return home of the national heritage to be admired by art lovers and enthusiasts.

After decades missing, the famous work of renowned artist, Ben Enwonwu, was found in a London flat and auctioned for $1.2m.
