Access Bank, AFF Release Programme Of Event On 2019 Summit

Ten days from today and precisely May 16, 2019, the Africa FinTech Foundry (AFF) innovators summit, will create an ecosystem in Lagos where digital services inventors will interface with industry captains to design a roadmap for the nation’s march to knowledge economy.

Recall that AFF is a pan-African accelerator aimed at inspiring, training, mentoring, and investing funding into growth stage technology start-ups operating primarily in the FinTech space.
Details from the event’s programme, lined up activities, confirmed speakers and special invitees showed that whereas Ade Bajomo will deliver the welcome address with special emphasis on “Tech Is All Around Us: The Future Is Digital, The Future Is Gold,” he will back up his presentations with speech on ‘The Future of the Intelligent Bank’ rounding up with ‘The Grand Launch of Tamada’.

Bajomo’s speech will be succeeded by Keynote address on ‘It is not the Technology that changes the World, it is the dreams behind the Technology!,’ to be delivered by the chief executive of Access Bank, Mr. Herbert Wigwe.
Going forward, key presentations and demos will follow from experts including Brett King, Robot Demos and presentation of Drone and Robots developed by CIS Lagos students.

Fintech AFF logoUnder the first panel discussion on Technology majoring on ‘Women in Technology: Future Perfect Technology,’ leading industry fellows including chief executive of MainOne Cable Company, Ms Funke Opeke, will chair alongside Barbara Iyayi, Adia Sowho, Hauwa Yabani, and Audrey Mothupi.
Shortly after first networking tea/coffee break, Mr. Uzoma Dozie will hit the stage to deliver analysis on ‘The future of cash in a digital world OR Cash is king; X is its Heir, Find X.’

After another break for Demo Presentation on Start up (Digital payments), Panel Discussion on Venture Capital will begin with perspectives on ‘Securing Seed and Growth Funding for Start ups in Nigeria and Africa’.
Panellists will include Bunmi Akinyemiju, Adedeji Olowe, Omobola Johnson, and Ashwin Ravichandran.
The panel discussion will be followed by Lunch Break, Refreshments and Networking at the end of which, question and answer Q & A with industry Expert on Regulation Technology (RegTech) and Enabling Investments plus making the regulations clearer, will take the floor.

This segment will feature industry regulatory captains including Mary Uduk of SEC and Segun Aina.
On Fireside Chat, leading serial techpreneur and chairman of Zinx Group, Leo Stan Ekeh will drive Demo Presentation on Start Up.

As the day runs down, clinical Masterclasses on FinTech and Digital Payments, Cybersecurity, Blockchain and Analytics in Action/Real-time Analytic will take the stage
The Materclasses will be followed by Bayo Adekanmbi’s Hard Talk on Disruptive Banking (Commerciality around banking and APIs) with Brett King and Roosevelt Ogbonna on stage.

Business Hilights gathered the 2019 AFF Conference will be drawing the curtain with the ‘Announcement of demo winners, raffle draw winners and closing remarks’.
