Anthill Studios upcoming film ‘DOD’ is a game changer [ Instagram]
A Nollywood time travel film is officially in the works and Nigerian owned film studios, Anthill Studios, has reportedly rolled out their cameras to bring the new feature to life.
The ‘Malika’ and ‘Elevator Baby’ makers recently unveiled a new feature titled ‘DOD’, a family adventure drama, based on two teenagers, Chidi and Rotimi who get the magical chance to go back in time and reverse the financial situation of their family.
The ‘DOD’ story is written by Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba and will be directed by the duo. Ogba, a first-time director will collaborate with the second-time director of ‘Elevator Baby’.
On the list of ensemble cast include Jide Kososko, Nobert Young, Ireti Doyle Ini Dima- Okojie, Toyin Abraham, Blosson Chukwujekwu, among others.
Web/TV actor Denola Grey plays the lead role alongside Olumide Oworu. The movie is produced by Victoria Akujobi of Anthill Studiosand Isioma Osaje.
Anthill Studios got 6 AMVCA nominations for their ‘Elevator baby’ movie including Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Picture Editor.
An official release date for ‘DOD’ is yet to be announced.
