She Leads Africa: 19 Entrepreneurs selected for 2017 Accelerator programme.

She Leads Africa has announced that nineteen early stage businesses have been accepted into the 2017 SLA Accelerator Programme.

The program She Leads Africa has partnered with the Work in Progress! Alliance (VC4Africa and Oxfam), OCP, Guaranty Trust Bank, Cointreau and Intel Corp to create a 3-month accelerator program designed to identify, support and fund the next generation of Nigeria’s brightest entrepreneurs.

This year’s She Leads Africa which will hold in Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna received applications from over 200 startups from across Nigeria with selection based on entrepreneur’s traction in the market, management team and vision to grow and scale across Africa.

 In the Intel Technology Cohort (hosted at Café Neo Lagos) the selected businesses are: Greymate Care, KJK.Com.Ng, Dexterity Logics Ltd and Eventplanner.ng.

In the Cointreau Creatives Cohort (hosted at Seedspace, Lagos) the selected businesses are: Taeillo, Netima Happy Feet, MMG Creations World, Red Button and Auditions.Ng.

In the GTB Retail & E-Commerce Cohort (hosted at AIIVON Hub, Abuja) the selected businesses are: Food-i-Like, Mahauty Health Solutions and Smile-On Limited.

In the OCP Agribusiness Cohort (hosted at CoLab, Kaduna) the selected businesses are: Dahrah Global Limited, Meenam Blends, Farm For Gold Venture, Apples & Berries Fruits Paradise and Showplace Nigeria Limited.

The entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses at an investor Demo Day in November and compete for N2 million investment from She Leads Africa along with other business support services.
