Excellent Nigerian Army display at Scotland Int’l Military Day.

The Nigerian Army Band got so many commendations after bringing their A-game to the annual Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, an international military event.

The 2019 edition of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was held on Wednesday August 7, at the Esplanade Castle in Scotland. It featured series of military tattoos performed by British Armed Forces, Commonwealth, international military bands and artistic performance teams.

Asides playing some Nigerian tunes, the Nigerian Army Band embedded a cultural dance which featured prominent Nigerian tribes, in their performance at the event. The outing is said to be Nigeria’s first and certainly won’t be the last.

The band’s commander, Mukhtar Daroda in an exchange with a Facebook user wrote;

Na so!!..thanks alot dear. It was a real honour to showcase Ngr in such positive light. Everyone wanted a shot with me and the Ngr contingent…I had to find a way to “thin out”…but honestly it was superb! Thanx for ur support and encouragement always. Very impt
