Sterling Bank, travel agencies move for industry expansion

Sterling Bank Plc has said it is collaborating with the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies to develop a mutually-beneficial relationship between the bank and members of the association.

In a statement, Sterling Bank’s Business Executive, Retail & Consumer Banking Lagos, Mr Olusoji Akintola, said the bank entered into the partnership as part of its strategic focus to contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy by investing heavily in five sectors of the economy.

He said the sectors, which were the heart of the bank, were health, education, agriculture, renewable energy and transportation, and that it was the bank’s desire to play a part in the development of the transportation sector, a critical component of its HEART mantra.

In his presentation, the Head of Sterling Bank’s Transport & Maritime Sector, Mr Olusegun Akinsanya, listed some of the bank’s product offerings that members of the association could take advantage of to expand their businesses.

Akinsanya assured that the bank would put together a series of products for operators in the sector in line with their unique business model.
