MTV Base’s “The Code” debuts with an exciting line-up.

From lifestyle recs to dating and relationship advice, MTV Base is bringing you hacks and unbeatable tips in its all-new shortform content show —The Code — to help you navigate ‘this thing called life’. 

Tagged Dating Code, this season of The Code with new episodes every Friday till 31 March on MTV Base DStv Channel 322 or GOtv Channel 72, will gather actors, comics, musicians and experts to have light-hearted and hilarious conversations addressing the dos, don’ts and red flags you should note as you move from hopelessly single to the talking stage and finally to dating. 

According to Busola Komolafe, Channel Head, Paramount Africa, “Dating Code” will address the emerging trends in the dating world that have reshaped our Ideals as humans.

“The Code is not just another spinoff MTV Base has curated,” she remarked. “Rather, it is a thoughtful aggregation of the many shows that seek to enlighten the viewers on our environment and how to navigate through the many facets of life. Recent trends in the dating world have reshaped our ideals and philosophies about what romance should truly be. Therefore, it is important that conversations are not just about our emotional needs but about every other area that people should be enlightened on. This is what “The Code” seeks to achieve.” 

“Dating Code” is set to be a mini-series that speaks to the realities of our environment, and if the pilot episode’s exquisite selection of entertainers and experts is anything to go by, you may be wearing matching pyjamas by Christmas. 

In the previous episode, the show had the likes of Pelumi Buhari, Molazzo, Becca, and MIA fill us in on juicy tips we won’t forget in a hurry. In the upcoming episodes, you can expect to see White money, Cera, Deon, Jermaine, Jola Talks, Sheye Banks, Nicole Abebe, Steph Quick, Korede Bello, Lussh_szn, OritseFemi, Mr. Hyenana, Kolade Dominate and Daniella Peters as they let us in on the Dating Code.
