Toyota unveils integrated auto centre in Abia

Toyota has unveiled an ancillary auto centre in Umuahia to improve the automobile industry in Abia State.

 The Managing Director, Elizade AutoLand, Mr Demola Ade-Ojo, described the opening of the Unique Integrated Auto Centre as one of the good things that had happened to the state and the South-East in general.

  The Director, Unique Integrated Auto Centre, Jaja Ihesiaba, said the centre had been designed as the biggest showroom in Abia State with state-of-the-art facilities for Toyota products, adding that it would run the range of Toyota’s top line vehicles.

He said it would also offer modern repairs with gadgets and instruments of international standards.

   These, he said, would make the centre the leader in automobile industry in the South-East, with genuine spare parts directly acquired from Toyota International, as well as other safety measures.

According to him, the centre will also play a leading role in providing employment opportunities for both skilled and unskilled residents of the state.

An auto engineer, Precious Mbuko, from Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of the state, at the opening of the centre, said if well handled, the project would become something for Toyota as well as residents of the state to be proud of.

    The unveiling of the centre was done by the Managing Director of Cornells Travel and Tour Limited, Madu Chibata.
