The versatile actor was born in LagosNigeria on the 21st of September, 1982 and he is the eldestof 4 siblings. Mike had his earlier education in Taraba state, Federal Government CollegeWukari, in the former Gongola State, actual Taraba State AndArchbishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School,Lagos State.

Northern Nigeria, and later in Lagos.He had his first degree at Nnamdi Azikiwe University inAnambra state. Mike has shown interest in acting right fromhis elementary primary school days, he was fond of writingscripts and working behind the camera.

Right from primary school, Michael showed a keen interestin the world of television. He worked behind the camerawriting scripts on clapper board television.
A good friend of movie producer Jetta Amata, Michael hasalways been involved in some capacity in the world of Artsand Theater despite having studied Accounting.

He was buying fuel at a gas station when he was spotted byRuke Amata of the Amata Dynasty and this happycoincidence set him on tracks to pursue his most cherisheddream of becoming an actor.

CAREER AND LIFE
Unlike many other actors and actresses in Nollywood, MikeEzuruonye had his major movie break by chance; he wasspotted by One of Nollywood’s finest movie producers –Ruke Amata. Amata spotted Mike buying fuel at a fillingstation in Lagos but it was movie director- Dickson Iroegbuthat actually game Ezuruonye his first movie break in“Broken marriage”.

Ezuruonye further rose to stardom when he was featured inone of the bestselling Nollywood movies- critical decision.Mike’s rise to stardom was very quick, since he started hisacting career in 2003, he has never looked back.

Reynold is the first born of the Ezuruonyes, he wasborn Canada and he celebrated his first birthday on October1st 2012, Mike Ezuruonye baby is fondly referred to as“independence baby” because he shares birthday withNigeria’s Independence Day.

The wedding between Mike and Keke Nkechi Nnorom wasone of the classiest in the history of Nollywood, the couplehad met during the shooting of a movie in Abuja and theunion was made official on the 13th of November 2010.Nkechi, Mike’s wife was a medical psychologist in Canadabefore relocating to Nigeria in 2010 and as fate would have.
