The Africa CEO Forum awards is set to recognise the outstanding performances of business leaders, companies and investors in Africa.
In particular, a statement issued by the organisers said the seventh edition of the forum would honour organisations that had actively promoted women inclusion in management in the past one year.
According to Jeune Afrique Media Group and Rainbow Unlimited, the organisers of the event, the new ‘Gender Leader of the Year’ award category will be presented to a company that has made a standout contribution to promoting gender diversity.
The statement said, “Each year, the Africa CEO Forum Awards recognise business leaders, companies and investors whose strategy and performance have contributed most to Africa’s growth momentum over the past year through five awards ranging from ‘CEO of the Year’ to ‘Disrupter of the Year’.”
