Simple tips to help you prepare for the summer season

Summer is coming!

And we’re excited to share our tips to help you prepare for the summer season.

We all know that summer is a time when people are more likely to be outside, but it can also be a challenge to stay safe and healthy. We all need to take extra precautions to stay safe on the playground, in the pool and at the beach. Here are some simple tips that we hope will help:

Have a plan.

Preparing for summer is having a plan in place. If you don’t have one yet, now is the time to figure out what type of activities you’d like to do and how many days they’ll take up in your schedule this season, maybe it’s going to the beach? Maybe it’s going to the pool? Maybe it’s going to the park? Whatever it is, make sure you’re ready for whatever comes your way.

Stay hydrated and healthy.

Drinking plenty of water is important for staying healthy during hot weather, but it’s also important to stay hydrated by eating foods high in water content such as fruits and vegetables because they help keep your body well-hydrated throughout the day (especially when it’s hot outside). Eating healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables can also help lower your risk of heart disease because they contain nutrients that reduce inflammation in

Don’t overheat yourself with hot weather activities

The sun can be deceiving—it can feel like an oven out there, but that doesn’t mean you should skip out on all your favorite summertime activities! Just make sure to dress appropriately for the heat (think lightweight clothing and sunscreen), drink plenty of water, wear sunglasses/sunscreen combo gear and take breaks as needed while participating in activities like running or hiking.

Wear sunscreen with a high SPF (sun protection factor)

Wear sunscreen with a high SPF (sun protection factor) during the day so that you can avoid having sunburns or skin damage caused by UV rays from the sun. Use lip balm with SPF as well if you plan on spending most of your time outdoors, especially when swimming at public pools or beaches where there is no shade available (and don’t forget to reapply every two hours).

Wear loose-fitting clothes.

Wear loose-fitting clothes made of lightweight materials like cotton so that they will keep your body cool while allowing air flow inside them.; consider wearing light colors such as white or light pastels so that sunlight does not reflect off your clothes and cause heat gain or loss in your body temperature (this would be especially important if one of your activities involves going into water since dark colors absorb heat from sunlight).
