Chamsmobile appoints new director

A FinTech company, Chamsmobile has appointed Binta Max-Gbinije as a new member of the board of directors.

The company said in a statement that with the appointment of Binta who holds over 31 years of experience in strategic leadership, wholesale and retail banking, wealth and fiduciary management, treasury marketing, and asset management, it was confident that this would boost Chamsmobile’s growth in the African fintech industry.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Chamsmobile, Mrs Mayor Olaniyan, said, “We are thrilled to have a seasoned professional with an excellent personality like Binta on board, her presence at Chamsmobile will surely lead us to the next phase of growth and success.”

According to the statement, the Executive Director, Chamsmobile, Mr Kayode Akomolafe, acknowledged that Binta has a great record of achievements, especially in the finance industry, and the results speak for themselves.

Prior to her appointment into Chamsmobile, she served as vice President of the Association of Corporate Trustees Nigeria, Chairperson of the Stanbic IBTC Blue Women Network, Executive Council Member of Women in Business, Management, and Public Service. In 2018, she was named one of Nigeria’s 100 Most Inspiring Women.
