Cynthia and Angel is a feminine Nigerian brand founded by Cynthia Achama Otiyo-Abila. Cynthia studied Environmental Biotechnology in University of Port Harcourt but has always been fascinated by Arts, Creative wearable designs, style and a passion for details which led her to seek a proper training in garment making from the University of Arts, London.
She was an active practicing environmentalist until she started the brand Cynthia and Angel in Abuja in 2015.
Cynthia and Angel believes that fashion is comfort that speaks more than a thousand words. We strive to create a wearable, simple, chic, detailed clothing to fit quality yearning customers. Adejare Mayowa (born January, 1986) is a Nigerian fashion Designer best known for founding theunisex lifestyle brand APEX CLOTHINGS in 2012. After graduating from Tai Solarin University of Education in 2009, he went to Regional Maritime University Accra Ghana, where he studied fashion designing. He began designing for his family and friends which later birthed the clothing line in 2012. The company later expanded into women’s clothing and various luxury items and went public in 2013.
APEX CLOTHINGS collections are often influenced by the fashion of music subcultures and he is well groomed and mentored by the seasoned celebrity designer Adebayo Jones. His clothing are made from the finest of Italian fabric, Egyptian cotton, floral print, wool and cashmere.
Africa Fashion Week Nigeria a social enterprise that provides a platform to help promote Nigerian and brands through worldwide visibility and distribution and manufacturing. We focus on empowerment, creating jobs and supporting education and skills training in fashion.
