Benue State University Teaching Hospital, (BSUTH) Makurdi – Our vision is to provide excellent health care to the people of Benue State and the surrounding states. We intend to provide the best possible environment for teaching and research so that the dreams of both our students and staff are realized, and in the process adding value to the society. We commit ourselves to working towards this vision, and we invite collaboration from all people and organizations of like mind.
We have received accreditation from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria to be a suitable place for the training of medical students. We hope to have similar accreditations from other professional bodies in the near future so we can train both resident doctors and other professionals in the health sector.
We are a new hospital, but our facilities include those for Heamodialysis, Endoscopy, Imaging with various modalities including CT scanning, echocardiography and so on. Our hospital environment is beautiful to behold.
We have many consultants in various fields and they come from all parts of Nigeria and are helping to transform our vision into reality. We have enthusiastic support workforce that is working hard to actualize our dreams.
