The Nigeria Election Coalition NEC is a virtual network backed by real networks that in two conferences in 2009 and 2010 agreed to work cooperatively with in the shared goals and common purpose of achieving a free and fair election in 2011. The portal represents just a small part of the collective work of many organizations and individuals dedicated to ensuring that the 2011 elections will make a positive difference in Nigeria.
