The Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ)
Apart from the Ordinary and National Diploma as well as Post graduate programmes, the Nigerian institute of Journalism offers courses on Basic Journalism for students in collaboration with the Public Affairs Section(PAS) United States Consulate, Lagos by a visiting professional from Paris , Dr Eduardo Cue, in June 2007.
There are General Studies in Entrepreneurship, Basic Photography,Philosophy and Logic as well as General Science
The school also runs specialized short term courses for professional practitioners and intending practitioners in specialized areas of Mass Communication and Journalism. Such programmes covers Photo Journalism, News Writing, Reporting and Editing, Radio and television Production amongst others.
