he Nigerian Law School was established in Lagos under the Legal Education Act 1962 now Legal Education (Consolidation Etc) Act Cap. L10, Laws of the Federation, 2004. From 1962 up till December 1997 the Law School remained in Lagos. Following the Federal Government directive, the School was relocated to Bwari in Abuja in December 1997.
Law Graduates from Universities attend one year of Law School before they are called to the bar. The law school has 6 campuses across the nation:

- Yola Campus
- Kano Campus
- Yenagoa Campus
Aim And Mission
To Adopt skill-based, interactive and clinical methods of learning that would adequately prepare the graduates for their roles as lawyers to function as teachers, advocates, solicitors, advisers, leaders in private enterprises and public service.
