Vision
The vision of the Spiritan University is to be a university that provides opportunities for the inculcation of academic excellence and positive value reorientation through acquisition, conservation, dissemination and application of knowledge for the production of globally competitive graduates. Our focus will be on an all round development of the individual member of the University community without discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity or religion. Students will receive quality education in line with international standards and will be ready to stand the challenges of work and life.
Mission
The mission of the Spiritan University is to produce knowledgeable and skillful graduates that are equipped, through functional education and value re-orientation, to effectively harness the environment and act as catalysts for the development of the Nigerian society and humanity at large.
Philosophy
The Spiritan University intends to be a centre of excellence for research, value orientation and industry that will attempt to produce positively cultured men and women who are sound in learning, possess critical skills, knowledge and understanding as well as are worthy in learning and character so as to be useful to themselves and humanity. This will enable them to succeed in whatever situation or problem they find themselves without hurting others and to see themselves as individuals and members of the Nigerian and global community. The University will also adopt an inclusive management style that will be innovative and result oriented.
The University will provide research and tutorial services that will preserve and encourage the practice of the best values in its theoretical and practical programmes. In order to achieve these objectives, the University will endeavour to utilize the courses in General Studies, Religious instructions and entrepreneurial skills to encourage students to cultivate the love of God, humanity and creation which is a requisite for national development, unity and patriotism.
