Blaqbonez has revealed the lineup for his anti-love concert taking place this Sunday at the Muri Okunola park in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Promoted in the form of a crusade, the event set to be held on the eve of Valentine’s Day (February 13) will include performance from top Nigerian acts including M.I. Abaga, Falz, Buju, Oxlade, Ckay, Psycho YP, Cheque, Laycon and more. Comedians Broda Shaggi, and Josh2Funny are also part of the roster.
The concert dubbed “Breaking The Yoke Of Love” is in support of his chart topping debut album, Sex Over Love. Released last year, the breakthrough album featured appearances from Nasty C, Tiwa Savage, Buju and more. Following the album’s success, Emeka re-uped with a deluxe edition, which included additional appearances from Tellaman, Kwesi Arthur and Bella Shmurda.
Blaqbonez was undoubtedly one of the hardest working African rappers of 2021, and his efforts earned him a nomination in the Hustler Of The Year category at the inaugural Creative-Africa Hip Hop Awards. The Nigerian rapper was also crowned our best West African rapper of the year.
Blaqbonez is also set to release his first single of 2022 next week Friday (February 22). Until then, grab your tickets for his Breaking the yoke concert here.
