Nigerian Prodigy Zeribe Chike Nwosu Achieves Professorship at New York University in Just 6 Years After PhD attainment.

A brilliant Nigerian man, Zeribe Chike Nwosu has been awarded a Professorship at Cornell University, New York just 6 years after he earned his PhD Degree.

Professor Zeribe Nwosu who is a post doctoral research fellow at University of Michigan, United Kingdom earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science(MLS) from Ebonyi State University in Nigeria.

He proceeded to the London Metropolitan University, UK where he bagged his Masters degree in Biomedical science. In 2013, he started his Doctorate (PhD) Degree also at Heidelberg University, Germany and bagged his highest academic degree in science in 2017.

Six(6) years after she earned her PhD, Dr Zeribe was awarded a professorship at Cornell University, United Kingdom. Announcing his success on his LinkedIn, Dr Zeribe thanked the Cornell University management for giving him the opportunity to pursue his research at the university.

”I am excited to share that I have accepted an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA,” he wrote.

He added that he will also be participating in the National Institute Of Health Program that was recently launched in the university. ”I will also participate in the recently launched NIH Cornell FIRST program designed to foster the career growth of faculty members of diverse background,” he added.

Dr. Zeribe concluded by appreciating his friends and family, mentors and colleagues who had contributed to his academic success.
