Riding on its corporate motto of ‘With You, All The Way,’ the bank champions the initiative that “together, we can realise a gender-balanced world,” the statement added.

The bank recalled that in 2018, it celebrated women in Nigeria’s technology space through ‘Tech Chicks’ – a platform that highlighted the achievement of young women in the technology industry. It recognised the works of women such as Temitope Omotayo, Bolanle Banwo, Ada Nduka Oyom, and Dele Tejuosho. Through Tech Chicks, the bank indeed provided a channel for women to share related goals, dialogue and inspire one other.”

We commend Wema Bank for its commitment to promoting Nigerian women and emphasising their significance in establishing a better society and balanced society. Keep up the good work.
