Ringier Media Nigeria Limited Acquires My Africa – A Leading African Podcast

Pulse Nigeria, the online media division of Ringier Nigeria, has just acquired the My Africa brand and assets. The My Africa brand includes the popular My Africa Podcast series which has been available at http://myafricapodcast.com/​ and on the Apple iTunes store. The series is hosted by Andre Blaze Henshaw, the Nigerian media entrepreneur and has been running for more than a year.

Pulse plans to continue the series and expand it by adding more content under a new brand called My Africa Podcast by Pulse. Mr. Henshaw will stay on as the presenter for new episodes.

About the acquisition, Head of Pulse Rich Tanksley, said, “We are really excited to have the My Africa brand and podcasts to add to our growing library of content types and sources. My Africa has done a fantastic job growing a media asset and we are looking forward to continuing their work.”
