Sadiq Umar joins Real Sociedad on a four-year deal

Super Eagles forward, Sadiq Umar has completed his long-anticipated transfer away from UD Almeria.

The Kaduna-born forward joins Real Sociedad in the Spanish La Liga on a four-year deal for a reported 20 million Euros. The fee could rise to 26 million Euros, based on some performance-based incentives.

The player arrived in Donostia this morning, underwent a medical examination at the Gipuzkoa Polyclinic and, in the afternoon, signed his new contract.

He will wear number 25 jersey for his new club.
