We Have Started Burning The Midnight Oil On COSON Week 2017 – Okoroji

Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji, has said
that all systems are being activated to make sure that COSON Week 2017,
which holds from October 27 to November 3 redefines the music industry in
Nigeria in all its ramifications. In the words of the former President of PMAN
and renowned master producer of jaw dropping events, “we have already
started burning the midnight oil, dotting the ’I’s and crossing the ‘t’s. We are
mobilizing men and materials like never before for a COSON week like no
other. Very soon we will announce the seven special events that will happen
during the COSON week, the seven special venues where the events will take
place and the seven specific dates for each event. You can see why we have
adopted ‘777’ as our slogan”
Chief Okoroji, the untiring campaigner for the rights of creative people across
Africa, was speaking to a group of journalists in Abuja after the historic
meeting on Monday, July 24, 2017 between the Inspector-General of Police
and a powerful delegation of the Nigerian creative industry led by the Minister
of Information & Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Speaking further, Chief Okoroji said, “we will spare ourselves no
inconvenience, no discomfort and no sacrifice to make COSON Week 2017 one
for the history books because we are one hundred percent committed to
making the Nigerian music industry a proud and respected industry
contributing substantially to the socio-economic growth of the Nigerian nation.
Those who know me well will tell you that if I am committed to something, I
give it close marking. I work on it practically twenty four hours a day. I am
giving COSON Week 2017 close marking… twenty hours a day focus. You can
say that I am focussed like a laser beam on COSON Week 2017. COSON Week
2017 will be amazing, scintillating and spectacular. You can quote me.”
