Banana Bread

BANANA BREAD
Recipe for eight servings

REQUIREMENTS

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 cups mashed overripe bananas
- Pinch teaspoon salt





What you do

Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Lightly grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas. Blend until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir continuously until meal becomes moistened. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for 1hour-1hour 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into centre of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then spread out on a wire rack.
