Turmeric Pick-Me-Up
Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory you should add to your meal and we just can't stop using it either. With a combination of honey, lemon, ginger and turmeric, I consider this a tonic worthy of gulping down daily. LOL! Turmeric lights up my world...
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 pcs lemon
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pcs ginger
What you do
Combine the turmeric, honey, salt, black pepper, water and ginger (peeled and cut into pieces) in a blender. Squeeze the lemon juice into the blender and pulse until smooth.
Strain if desired.
Serve with ice cubes.
