MIYAN SHIMBE

REQUIREMENTS

- 2 medium size Fresh Fish
- 1 medium bunch Shimbe Leaves (Effirin)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Pepper (ground)
- 1/4 teaspoon Potash (ground)
- 1½ cooking spoons Palm Oil
- 2 maggi cubes
- 1 cup Water
- Salt To taste



What you do

Clean the fish and cut each into 3 pieces each.Season with salt and maggi cubes.

Pick, wash and chop the shimbe leaves. Place ½ the quantity of the shimbe leaves at the base of the pot and arrange the fish on top of the leaves. Add the remaining leaves on top.

Place On ihe burner. Add 1 cup of water, pepper, crushed potash and palm oil. Shake the pot to obtain even distribution of the added ingredients. Cook for aoout 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve with tuwon shinkafa.
