REQUIREMENTS

- 2 medium size Fresh Fish
- 2 cups Isam (Shelled periwinkle)
- 4 medium size Crabs
- 2 cups Ngolo (clam)
- 1½ cups Scallops/Oyster
- 4 large size Osi (snails)
- 12 large size Fresh Prawns
- 6 medium fresh Pepper(scented Type)
- 2 tablespoon crayfish (ground)
- 3 medium size Cocoyam (white Type)
- 3 Maggi Cube
- I cooking spoon Palm Oil
- 2 litres of Water
- Salt to taste



What you do

Clean the fish and cut into two pieces each. Season with 2 maggi cubes and a little salt. Allow to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Season the washed snails with 1 maggi cube and steam for about 10 minutes.

Remove all unwanted bits from the crab, ngolo, fresh prawns and isam. Cut the crabs into 2 pieces each.

Steam the fish for about 5 minutes under low heat. Add the remaining sea foods and continue steaming for another 5 minutes and set aside.

Peel, wash and cut the cocoyam, into small pieces. Boil for about 10-15 minutes. Remove the cocoyam and pound thoroughly then return to the boiling pot of cocoyam water.

Add all the steamed ingredient and the Crayfish with the exception of the fish. Stir gently, add the palm oil and the remaining water togetner with the stock.

Add the snails and chopped pepper to the pot. Add the fish and stir gently. Add salt to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes and remove from heat.

Serve with onunu.
