BAKED SOYBEANS
Recipe for five servings

REQUIREMENTS

1 cup dry soybeans, soaked
3 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1teaspoon salt
1teaspoon red pepper

What you do

Cook the soya beans and drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine beans, remaining liquid and ingredients in a dish and bake, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes, then uncovered for 30 minutes.

Add your chopped garlic cloves and red pepper.

The addition of 1/2 cup of corn kernels is another variation.
