BOILED YAM & FISH STEW
Recipe for six servings

REQUIREMENTS

- 1 big yam
- 2 smoked fish
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cooking spoons pepper, ground
- 1 medium size onion, sliced
- 65 ml groundnut oil
- Dash salt and seasonings to taste.

What you do

Peel and wash yam, arrange in a pot with a cup of water, add a pinch salt and two tablespoons of sugar and allow to boil for about 20 to 25minutes.

In a separate skillet, pour groundnut oil, add sliced onion. Fry onion for two minutes and add ground pepper. Fry for another 10 minutes then add a pinch salt and seasonings. Still fry for 10 more minutes and serve hot.
