Apostle Anselm Madubuko is the General Overseer of Revival Assembly Church, one of the leading Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.

Born on July 25, 1958, he is a native of Orsumoghu in Ihiala local government area of Anambra State. He attended Government Secondary School, Afikpo and University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, where he studied Architecture.

He graduated in 1982, came to Lagos for his NYSC and thereafter joined Tom Ikimi and Associates, an architectural firm owned by Nigeria’s former Minister of External Affairs, Chief Tom Ikimi. Initiated into the Lodge (by his late father) and Pyrates Confraternity (on his own), where he rose to become a capon, he had to abandon all that after he got born again on August 4, 1983.

A very good friend of Rev. Chris Okotie, right from their days at UNN, he was Okotie’s right hand man until one unfortunate and unforgettable day when he banned him from his church (Household of God, where he used to head the Deliverance Department). After due consultations, he started Revival Assembly. The church was first sited on Oritshe Street in Ikeja before it relocated to its permanent site.

Called of God to reach out to the nations, he was happily married to Pastor Connie until death separated them, on Friday, July 6, 2012. The union is blessed with three children – Velma, Anselm, Jnr. and Sandra. The late Pastor Connie, a stylish and brutally frank woman of God, allegedly died from complications arising from heart attack. From Umuodo, Ezi, in Ndokwa local government area of Delta State, her low cut, with a white patch at the centre, stood her out in any gathering.

Apostle Anselm Madubuko remarried a year the dealth of his former wife. Apostle Anselm Madubuko and Emmy Kosgei, a Kenyan Gospel singer, got married on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Windsor Hotel and Golf Country Club, Nairobi. They also celebrated their thanksgiving at the head pastor’s church, Revival Assembly Ministry, Ogba on Sunday, September 15, 2013.
