Fayrouz Announces The Lucky Winners For The Dine With Fayrouz Challenge.

After two exciting weeks of creative, colourful and striking entries for the Dine wIth Fayrouz Challenge, Callix Obinna stole the hearts of Nigerians as his entry clinched the grand prize of N50,000, emerging as the lucky winner of the contest.  

As part of the current #FayrouzForEveryOccasion campaign, the brand executed a Dine wIth Fayrouz Challenge, which kicked off on September 1, 2021. Nigerians were asked to send in entries of them posing with their meal of choice and a Fayrouz drink to stand a chance of winning 50k for 1st place, 40k for 2nd place and 30k for 3rd place. Participants were also asked to tag Fayrouz Nigeria and use the hashtag #DineWithFayrouz and #FayrouzForEveryOccasion alongside their post entries.

Amidst thousands of creative entries, ten entries were shortlisted, and Nigerians were asked to vote for their top three. Callix Obinna, Mmesoma Mmeje, Adaugo Williams emerged as the winners for the 50k, 40k and 30k prizes, respectively and were announced on the official Fayrouz platform on the 16th of September, 2021.

The entries stood out and became fan favourites because of the colourful compositions, careful depiction of the brand, adherence to instructions, and the fusion of innovative concepts. 

Speaking on the challenge, the Brand Manager, Fayrouz, Onyinye Elochukwu, stated that the challenge was “Fayrouz’s way of embracing and supporting the youths who break out of the norm to convey their creativity through cuisine and lifestyle.” 

The challenge has showcased that Nigeria is brimming with talent and innovation as the entries showcased different interpretations of the task. The brand would continue to champion causes and ventures that focus on providing an opportunity for youths to authentically be and express themselves,” she added.
