Poultry – What is a holiday season without chicken? Nigerians always look forward to eating chicken during the holidays – grilled, fried or even roasted! A single chicken can go for as high as N15,000 – N20,000. You can propose a plan to supply the chickens for events during this season. Begin by talking with prospective clients weeks before the events start to roll in.

Decoration – Most businesses across the country love to decorate their spaces to mark the Christmas and new year celebrations. Even homes look forward to Christmas trees and general decorations during this period. Although this is a short time business, there is still money to be made.

Branded gift items – At the end of each year, a lot of people seize the opportunity to appreciate friends, partners, bosses and loved ones in general. This is a good business to get into especially months before the holidays to enable you plan well.

This business can be very lucrative. You can also add a mix of natural drinks and smoothies etc. to make your products more attractive. People have made hundreds or thousands doing this business.

Event Planning – The holiday season is usually a season full of events. Events who need someone to plan and organize. The events do not always have to be very big but with each planning comes more experience for your next job. All you need to do is make sure everything goes as planned. So put yourself out there and get your first event planning job.
