Themed “Governance, Agriculture, Technology And Entrepreneurship: The Gate To Self Reliance In The Digital Age”, the summit is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 24th May, 2018 at the TETFUND Auditorium, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The idea of the GATE model for the summit is to begin to build capacity of TASUEDites to embrace radical change and innovation in preparation for the diversification of Nigeria’s Economy. If Nigeria’s Oil dries up today, these 4 Areas (Governance, Agriculture, Technology and Entrepreneurship) are the major sectors that can guarantee the highest level of employment and Revenue as much as Oil and the barriers of entry into these Industries are pretty low.
More importantly, the invited speakers/panelists who are all graduate of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the GATE SUMMIT 2018 have been carefully selected as they have successfully built strong personal, corporate brands and currently thrive in the four identified summit theme.
Through this Platform, we aspire to provide a springboard for current students from diverse disciplines or course of study within the ivory tower to hear from the excelled and established of our time, birthing in them a greater vision for life and inspiring them to greater heights as they scale the ladder of success.
Other speakers include actor, Akinola DGifted Akano, Oyekanmi Abdullahi, Seyingbo Adedotun and Olabisi Akinbinu Morgana, amongst others. The GATE SUMMIT 2018 is to be compered by Ishola Adebayo of Online Hub Educational Services – @OnlineHubNG.
