IFCOD Festival Opening Ceremony By: INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE (IFCOD)

The IFCOD opening ceremony launches the five day festival with never seen before entertainment, featuring a cultural display which includes; an expose on Rivers State, the Host of this maiden International Festival Themed “Inspiring a new Era in the Performing Art”.

Sounds of authentic and contemporary Rivers vibes will come alive to give you a feel of excitment that will make you one with the culture of our birth, if you have forgotten you will remember; if you remember you will be proud to be of the Rivers.

Join us in a total theatre masterpiece as we embark on a journey with Sokari, who tries to finds his way back home from the source of the River Niger to meet his people, learn the culture, history, dance of the people, crafts, problems, riches and life that flows through the river in his blood.

Kindly come with provide proof of identity to verify ticket idenity. There is no age restriction.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is good security and parking at our event location.

Tickets are non transferrable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Printed tickets will fast track your admitance, however, other proof will be accepted

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
