Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala covers TIME Magazine.

Nigeria’s Former Minister of Finance and Current Director-General of the World Trade Organization, WTO, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been featured on the cover of TIME Magazine.

She was also recognized as one of the world’s top 100 most influential people in 2021. Mrs Okonjo-Iweala was featured alongside Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Reacting to the development, the finance guru took to twitter to express her happiness.

“Honored and privileged to be on the cover of Time Magazine and to be recognized as one of the Worlds most influential leaders! Profound thanks to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their kind words. All Glory to God!”

Also, ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri congratulated Mrs Iweala on the feat. He wrote on social media;

“Congratulations to my dear friend, @NOIweala, for once again making the @TIME Magazine 100 most influential people of 2021.”
