Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran is a Nigerian journalist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and technocrat. Olajide is popularly referred to as “JANDOR”, he is the lead visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement. Adeniran, along with his movement, defected from All Progressives Congress to People’s Democratic Party.

Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (born 25th November, 1977), a.k.a Jandor is a Nigerian journalist, politician, entrepreneur, philanthropist and technocrat.

Born as the 5th of 7 siblings in Mushin area of Lagos to a Christian mother and a Muslim father, Olajide is an illustrious and true son of Aworiland from the Osolu and Elete Kingdoms of Ojo local government area of Lagos. “Jandor” as he is fondly called.

Educational

Jandor is an alumnus of several institutions of learning, including The Polytechnic Ibadan; Modul University, Vienna; the Prestigious Howard University School of Business, Washington DC, USA; and Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom. He also belongs to several professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON); the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ); and the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON). He is also a member of the prestigious Yoruba Tennis Club and Eko Club.

Career

He found a career in communications consultancy, developing himself first as a proficient journalist with close to two decades of activities spanning business, entertainment and politics.

A member of several professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria. He currently sits atop the management of Core Media Services Ltd – a full fledged media outfit involved in Advertising and Media Consultancy, Datanet Project Services – an Oil Installations, Procurement and Constuction Company.

Owner of CoreTvNews – a 24hr National digital terrestrial station on Channel 748, also streaming online (available on Google Playstore and iOS), Core-Bet – a casino and sport betting firm. He’s also the chairman of Jandor Foundation, an NGO solely set up to cater for the downtrodden in Lagos State.

He is the recipient of many professional awards and the Nigeria at 50 Young Achievers Award in the year 2010.

Olajide is eventually defected to PDP and he is currently their gubernatorial candidate of the 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election.
