This is a fishing festival popular among the Akata people located in Katsina-Ala local government area. It is an annual event that is celebrated between the months of March and May. It is an annual fishing competition festival among Tiv, Etulo and Jukun fishermen in Katsina-Ala.
The festival depicts fishing techniques. At the end, prices are given to the fishermen that come out with the biggest catchs. This festival attracts all kinds of dances.
